Launch Event - Thursday 10th January what is next?
The event took place on Thursday 10th January at the Computational Conference Centre, Swansea University. As expected it was informative, useful and essential for businesses. The attendees information was equally valuable.
The launch event was well attended by between 40 and 50 delegates, covering a diverse range of businesses including Automotive, Hospitality, Printing, Training and many more, also representatives of the Federation of small businesses.
A number of potential projects have been identified, most will require further development but one of the more immediate activities will involve creation of a website for a company that currently has no web presence.
The fields of printing, RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), Computer Science, Hydrogen and Bio fuels are areas where potential collaborations have been identified.
Public access to the University Library was discussed. Networking was lively and extensive and the general feedback is very positive. More feedback is now required to determine the format of the next event which is scheduled for late February. It is important that businesses drive the evolution of this forum.
